Return pallets vs clearance stock
These are the two most common ways to buy discounted stock in the UK, and they behave completely differently. One rewards effort, the other rewards speed.
Return pallets
Goods a customer bought and sent back. Condition varies within a single pallet, and part of any lot will not be resaleable as-is.
Clearance stock
New, unsold retail stock cleared for commercial reasons — discontinued ranges, cancelled orders, surplus production.

If you have time, space and patience, return pallets produce the better percentage return. If you need stock you can list the same week, clearance is the safer buy — and most established resellers end up running both.
