Clearance Stock stock in the Palletise warehouse

Stock type

Clearance stock and end-of-line inventory

New stock sold below normal wholesale cost because a range has ended, a season has passed or a supplier is holding too much of it.

Clearance stock is not returned stock. It is inventory that was produced for retail but never sold through — discontinued ranges, packaging changes, cancelled orders and surplus production. That makes it one of the more predictable ways to buy: the goods are generally new and boxed, and the discount comes from the commercial situation rather than the condition.

Palletise buys clearance in whatever shape the seller needs to move it, which is why lot sizes vary from a couple of pallets to a full load. Where packaging has been marked in storage or transit we list the lot as BOX DAMAGED rather than NEW, so you know before you buy.
